Interns at Automation Associates
Automation Associates offers an internship program in the following areas: Accounts, Reception, Operations, Marketing , Technical, IT and AV Design.
Our two main applicant pools are International language students and NZ students looking for work experience. The internships are unpaid and temporary to satisfy the requirements of NZ Immigration Visa program. Minimum placement is 12 weeks, preference is given to longer placements.
NZ Students
For students from NZ, we offer work experience in a relevant field which is helpful with future employment applications. A successful internship may lead to an offer of paid employment.
International Students

AA gave me the opportunity to have my international internship at their company. I got to do lots of different tasks during my internship which made it nice to work because of the variation. It was a nice working place to gain experience in the business sector. I felt welcome the first second I got into the office. There is a nice working atmosphere. The colleagues will take time for you and you can always ask questions. They always make sure that you have work to do and that the work fits with your education and school assignments. I learnt a lot about the New Zealand market because of the broad custom relations, I really enjoyed working there.
From the first day of my Internship to the last, I was very welcomed and supported by everybody.
