Commercial AV Installation and Commissioning Technician
Full time, Auckland based

Based in Ponsonby, Automation Associates Commercial’s core business is design and installation of high-end commercial automation systems specialising in high-def audio and video, unified communications, presentation systems, video conferencing, AV system control, room booking systems, device connectivity, security, intelligent lighting control, access control and automation.
We are looking for an experienced technician with a range of prewire, fit-off and commissioning skills to join our installation team at the cutting edge of office technology.
Your can-do/right-first-time attitude and upbeat manner combined with a mix of the following skills will make you the perfect fit in our team of installers:
- Proven skills in pre-wire, fitoff, commissioning and servicing of a wide array of AV, UC/VC and access control systems. (Familiarity with brands we install is an advantage: Extron, Crestron, ICT, Luxul, London Blu and Qsys DSP’s, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, Logitech and Kramer)
- Skills with BMS control systems
- A full driver’s license, and as we are a registered security company you may be asked to undergo a police check
- Good understanding of audio and calibration techniques
- Solid networking skills
- Some skills with security systems an advantage.

- Have good communication skills and logical problem-solving skills,
- And a good sense of humour.
