New Freeview Channels
New Freeview Channels on 25th May
Looks like our friends have a couple of new Freeview channels for us:
The new PRIME, FOUR plus 1 and THE EDGE TV feeds (12519Mhz) will be available to tune to in the morning on WED 25 MAY; the crawler message will be activated at 12:03pm on WED 25 MAY across all 3 pre-existing feeds.
Freeview|HD (UHF) viewers will not be affected.
Most approved Freeview Satellite devices should update automatically; however – depending on device setup and firmware – a small proportion of users and MATV systems will require a manual update.
If a message appears on those channels, an update is required to avoid losing these channels in a few weeks.
Once updated successfully, the message will no longer appear onscreen.
If you see the crawler and want the New Freeview Channels, please email or call Melissa on 09 3773772 to book a tech – if this is done before the 14th of June there will be no interruptions to any channels.
Don’t have Freeview? Freeview provides free-to-air digital television and digital radio to New Zealand. The Freeview service consists of a high definition capable digital terrestrial TV service called Freeview|HD to around 86% of the population in the major urban and provincial centres, and a standard definition digital satellite TV service, called Freeview Satellite, covering the whole of mainland New Zealand and the major offshore islands. Freeview-certified set-top boxes are available at most major retailers. For more info visit www.freeviewnz.tv
