Auckland Emergency Management is a part of Auckland Council and works in partnership with emergency services and other organisations to ensure effective coordination of civil defence and emergency management, to build a resilient Auckland.
We were engaged to relocate AEM into new premises at Auckland House on Albert St and deploy upgrades which would improve the coordination and management of information during an emergency event. One of the key deliverables was to ensure the team was able to access and control multiple streams of information on demand, in a simple and efficient manner. Another key deliverable was to ensure that the technology solution we designed worked seamlessly with the Council’s Workflow Management and Prioritisation software and was able to manage a large flow of network traffic.
