Collaboration, creativity and productivity

Generator is New Zealand’s leading flexible workspace provider, creating cutting-edge, high-performing office amenities for teams of any size.

Bowen Campus in Wellington is a new precinct set across four buildings, home to 5,000 workers from a mix of government agencies and New Zealand’s leading corporates.

Automation Associates Commercial has thoughtfully designed and installed technology solutions for modern ways of working in 12 meeting rooms of varying sizes, as well as audio solutions in the Concierge area, Members Lounge, Shared Workspace and Café, creating spaces that encourage collaboration, creativity and productivity.

Room booking panels allow members to view room availability and book meeting rooms that are suitable for the number of people and intended use.

Depending on size and intended usages, meeting rooms can be set up as collaboration spaces, classroom or boardroom style.  Rooms contain a large format display (ranging from 55” to 174”) with a sound bar and PTZ or Huddly camera, Crestron tabletop video conferencing system for Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM), a ceiling array or tabletop microphone, in-ceiling speakers and a subwoofer for audio playback.  Hardware is contained in mobile vented enclosures which can easily be moved when members require different seating configurations.  Meeting room system control is via a Crestron wall mounted 10” touchscreen.

Meeting rooms 1 and 2 can be combined to provide a large formal meeting space for 36 people with the room technology easily configured for a lectern style presentation.  In addition to the standard meeting room technology deployed, this space also features a large 174” display, and lapel and handheld wireless microphones.  Generator staff use an iPad to configure the technology for the large, combined space.

Generator staff control audio feeds of background music for the Concierge, Members Lounge, Shared Workspace and Café areas via a Crestron app on an iPad.  In addition, the Members Lounge also features a 98” display on a mobile cart with the ability to show HDMI audio and video content, also controlled via the Generator staff iPad.  The Members Lounge audio visual solution facilitates large gatherings and social functions where users can bring their own music for customised ambiance.
